La Marianne, a figure that represents the values of republic of france liberty, equality and fraternity. The painting was originally a commission by the then mayor of Beauficel-en-Lyons, Eure, Normandy. The painting originally painted on wood using acrylic paint hung in the mayor's office until his retirement from duty, it is now in his private collection.
