1798, the story of the rebellion, when the Irish fought against the British led by Commodore John Barry and a personal visit to Wexford, Ireland were the inspirations for Olek's painting. The original painting was created in the Bullring, during the ART IN THE OPEN festival in Wexford town, County Wexford, Ireland.
